From specialist study one, I have discovered that the main thing I need to work on is rigging my models. In theory, I could, like the last project focus more on the design and the animation, but I need rigging to be able to animate the characters I have designed, so I will have to work out how to effectively rig something. Also, since it was a humanoid character I tried to rig last time, I will try out rigging a humanoid character this time, to make sure that I understand the skills.
For this project, I have decided to make a 3D iphone/ipod touch game, encorporating all the skills I have learnt from the previous project, but creating a playable, downloadable game out of them that I will post on the app store.
Since I have never done any coding for games, I have decided to team up with someone from the BCU programming course to help me create a really good game.
I will create the music myself using various music writing programs from the ipod, Jam with the band on the Nintendo DS, and a program called Audacity - all of which I have used before in my spare time.
